Get your marriage certificate

We managed to get our marriage certificate, finally. I thought of posting some info, which will help others.

We got married in Guntur, Andhra pradesh. We have tried to get the certificate from my parents place i.e. from Hyderabad. We couldn't succeed. Usually you will have to bribe the people to get the certificate. Finally we managed to get it from domulur sub registrar office, bangalore.

First you will have to find the nearest sub registrar office, your area belongs to. You need to have following information to go for the registration.

  • Three 2B size photos [bride and groom together], ideal is your marriage photo. The same will be pasted on the certificate.
  • Three witnesses to be signed, can be family numbers or friends (ideally who was part of your wedding).
  • Residence proof [can be electricity bill, gas connection on your name, BSNL land line bill. But, House rental agreement is not sufficient]
  • Wedding card.
  • Three Application forms and one request letter. Usually you can buy at sub registrar office [bought for 20Rs].

End of the day, we have just paid 95 rupees to get our certificate. Hope this information will help you to get your marriage certificate quickly.

My last day (time-being) in HI-PII

I had an exciting time over 8 years and 6 months in HI-PII group. Even now I still feel like doing something for PII. I am feeling very emotional because of long term relationship had with the people. The group has gone for enormous changes during my presence. I still remember the days, when the complete health care was just 60 people, now it’s close to 500.

There were many unforgettable moments like writing exciting code in late nights, exciting trekking experience, emotional OlymPICs, Golden leaf award, Employee of month(s) and so on...

Now the time has come to move ahead in my life. My commitments will decide my faith in the future. Tomorrow I am going to start my exciting journey in x-ray.
